Dignities (2023 - 2025)

Dignities is a project contemplating the possibilities and implications of commodifying the self today. To earn income from her art, Holly Elizaveta uses online platforms including OnlyFans to share and monetise her self-portraiture in its various forms (image, video, poetry), directly implicating herself into an exploration of selling her work and her body. Dignities is an enquiry into the connections between work, money, unpaid labour, agency, exploitation, sexuality, mundanity, objectification, persona and performance. The project questions traditional hierarchies of artistic value, labour and authenticity.
